The promise of salvation, both in the traditional and metaphysical Christian communities, provides a strong incentive for believers. The traditional Christian sees salvation as being spared from Hell after death while the metaphysical Christian sees salvation in achieving a level of spiritual enlightenment that assures inner and outer peace. While the metaphysical Christian does not generally see the soul as being in jeopardy of eternal hellfire, suffering is attributed to the belief that we are separate from God. Conscious union is, therefore, our salvation from suffering.
Assuming the soul is now complete and the purchase viagra fires of hell have been extinguished, how do we approach this life? What are we supposed to do with it? When the ancients realized that their survival skills allowed them some safety and leisure time, they began developing their more artistic side.
I have concluded that the epitome of the artistic pursuit is the exploration of our spirituality. Every single person is qualified to undertake this pursuit. You don’t need to wield a brush, a pen or a musical instrument. You simply hold this thought: I am a completed soul right here, right now. What do I want to do with my life?
The first part of this statement is the most important. Without some in-depth acceptance of this truth, you’ll find yourself saying, “Well, yes I’m complete but I want more.” This unrest indicates that you have not yet consciously connected with your completed soul. In all you do, take moments where you pause and say, “I am a complete and eternal soul having this experience right now in my eternal life.” If you really get this, you’ll feel the thrill of simply being, and you’ll experience a measure of the freedom that truly is yours.
And this is when the artist emerges. As a completely free soul, how do you want to show up at this moment in your eternal life? Nothing horrible is going to happen to your soul … ever. Can you not release the stress of fear, the tension of too many things to do or issues that are not yet resolved? Dwell on your completeness. Dwell on your eternal life right now and you will begin catching glimpses of the salvation you seek.
