The passenger asked what I liked to do in my personal time. “Write,” I responded.

“What do you write,” returned the inquirer.

“Words,” I responded, not to be coy.

I like to sit with a blank sheet in front of me and write. The outlet allows a flow to occur that is truly amazing to my thought processes. New thoughts and association just seem to appear. It is often as thought my connection with the divine seems inert until I begin to write. The wisdom that then seems to bubble forth places me in the position of a person watching the outpouring of a mountain stream. It is as though this is coming through me but not from me.

One, the Sea of Galilee, that is a vibrant active body of water teaming with life and the source of food for all surrounding. A lionshare of Jesus’ teaching was delivered on or around the Sea of Galilee. The other, the Dead Sea, is inert too salinated to support life. The difference in the two bodies of water is that the Sea of Galilee has an outlet. The water that flows in can eventually flow out. Both have sources of fresh water but only one an outlet.

The vibrant effect of giving in one’s life is noticeable to all with whom we come in contact. It is possible to actually feel the refreshing effect of allowing flowthrough in your life.
